This month marks 10 years since I had the privilege of assuming the role of Chairman of the Green Award Foundation — a decade dedicated to promoting sustainability, safety, and high-quality shipping across the global maritime community.
Today, I am humbled to stand as the longest-serving Chairman of the modern era of this distinguished environmental organization. These ten years have been a journey of collaboration, innovation and shared commitment to a safer, greener and more responsible maritime industry.
Over the last decade, the Green Award Foundation has expanded its global footprint, strengthened its certification programs, and deepened its cooperation with ports, terminals and service providers worldwide. Our mission remains clear: to reward quality and environmentally responsible shipping.
