Beneficiaries of the Action
In the framework of action 4.2.1, very small, small, medium-sized enterprises in the sense of the Commission's recommendation 2003/361/EC, as well as large enterprises, are supported. Any form of business that has an obligation to keep B or C category books is eligible, with the exception of businesses that operate in the form of a society, a civil law company and a joint venture.
Investment Plans & Subsidy
Investment plans from 400,000 euros to 5,000,000 euros
Subsidy from 40% to 75%
Eligible disciplines
The application for support concerns one or more of the following eligible branches.
a) Meat - poultry - rabbits. b) Milk.
c) Eggs.
d) Sericulture - beekeeping - snail farming - various animals. e) Animal feed.
f) Cereals.
g) Olive Products (excluding olive mill establishments). h) Wine.
i) Fruit and vegetables, nuts, nuts.
j) Flowers (indicative: standardization and marketing of flowers). k) Medicinal and Aromatic Plants.
l) Seeds & Propagation Material.
m) Vinegar (indicative: production of vinegar from wine, fruit and other agricultural raw materials).
In the context of the Action, establishment and modernization activities, with or without relocation, of a unit as well as unit merger activities are eligible for support under the following conditions/exceptions:
The establishment of oil mills is not eligible.
b) The establishment of a slaughterhouse is eligible only in island regions and annual capacity up to 400 tons of meat.
c) The establishment of poultry slaughterhouses is eligible only in mountainous or island areas.
d) The modernization of a unit means the replacement and/or addition of mechanical equipment such as capacity expansion (provided it is covered by the licenses necessary each time) of active and inactive units. Exceptionally, in the case of olive mill units that have ceased operation, they can modernize within the framework of this action and re-operate with the same activity and capacity.
c) In the case of modernization without a capacity increase of more than 20%, production units of inorganic supplementary feed for businesses, the units should be registered / approved according to 340668/ 26-11-2008 (Government Gazette 2422 B') KYA.
e) Unit relocations and mergers are necessarily accompanied by their modernization.
Subsidized Expenses
The eligible costs of the action concern the following categories:
1. Acquisition of real estate (plot or building facilities). The expenditure for the acquisition of a plot of land cannot exceed 10% of the total eligible budget of the support application.
2. Configuration of the surrounding area of the plot on which the support application will be implemented
3. Construction of new or improvement of existing building infrastructure
4. Supply, transport and installation:
• mechanical processing, packaging and refrigeration equipment
• laboratory equipment to support the operation of the unit
• equipment to produce energy from renewable sources for its needs
business not as an individual action but as part of the overall
productive investment
• water saving equipment, not as an individual action but as a section
of the total productive investment
• energy saving equipment not as an individual action but as part of the total productive investment
• waste treatment equipment not as a single action but as
part of the total productive investment
• office and computer equipment, such as the supply of telephones
installations, intercommunication networks, computers and
peripherals
machines, photocopiers, security systems
installations, fire protection and fire extinguishing systems, etc
5. Supply of means of external transport and in particular new vehicles
transport of special type products which, according to national legislation, are considered necessary for the operation of the investment
in order to ensure the quality and hygiene of the product (refers to
in the raw material and the produced product/by-product). Indicative
are mentioned:
• trucks - bulk flour transport silos
• isothermal tanks necessary to transport the milk to the site
standardization - processing
oil-kernel and liquid waste tankers
olive mills
• car refrigerators exclusively for wholesale of products
• vehicles for the transport of animal by-products to the units
hibernation, with specifications in accordance with current legislation
6. Supply of means of internal transport that cover its needs
investment (such as forklifts, hoists, etc.).
7. Connection to electricity, water, telephony, geothermal networks,
as long as they are carried out within the boundaries of the plot
8. Obtaining quality assurance certificates from competent organizations
(such as ISO, HACCP, BRC Global Standards, IFS Food Standard, GLOBALG.A.P.), the

9. General costs associated with the facilities and equipment of the unit,

Time of Implementation of Investment Plans
Up to 24 months from the date of issuance of the Incorporation Decision.
Electronic Submission
Businesses submit an electronic application for funding accompanied by an electronic application file to the State Aid Information System (SSIS)
The electronic application file includes the required supporting documents for submission/inclusion of Annex I in a non-editable electronic file format (e.g. pdf file).
