ClassNK has issued an Approval in Principle for “13,000m³ LPG Carrier” by CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding and a certificate handover ceremony was held in Marintec China 2025.
For this project, ClassNK reviewed multiple fundamental drawings related to hull structure, stability, machinery and electrical systems, and the cargo handling system. Based on its assessment in accordance with relevant international standards and the guidelines, ClassNK confirmed that the design concept meets the required technical criteria, leading to the issuance of this AiP.
ClassNK will continue to contribute to new technology development and social implementation, including safety assessments
