Please tell us the history of Wrist from its founding until today and why you have chosen Athens as your new base?
Wrist started in 1953 by Ove Wrist in Aalborg, Denmark and Wrist Marine Logistics is from the same family as Wrist ship Supply.
But we are two separate entities/companies only connected at the group level and it is the forwarding which will open an office here in Athens.
The Greek market has always been important to us, and it only makes sense to have a physical presence here and be closer to the clients
And on a personal note my girlfriend is Greek, so we are both very happy to move here
What services do you offer to Shipping Companies?
Forwarding, Storage, Customs clearance and last mile logistics.
But clients that use our full “door to deck” service will have less headache and more time
Apart from an additional saving of course
Are these services certified according to international quality assurance standards?
Yes we are ISO certified
What are the reasons why shipping companies would choose you over your competitors?
Well we are determined to stay competitive, but we have invested a lot in recent years into our AI and portal.
Therefore I strongly believe that we are one of the most advanced companies out there currently.
